Below the surface of the City is the Lower Ossuary—an underground temple that houses crypts and shrines to the four cardinal virtues: Temperance, Fortitude, Justice, and Wisdom. The temple is currently befouled as the City-dwellers have routed a sewer through it. If the adventurers can cleanse the four shrines, the encroaching Underworld might be driven back.
